My friend and I had an idea to cut a spear hole in the ice on a lake and at night we would go out there with a generator, some halogens and a ground blind and try to bowfish some carp. I do not think that there is enough ice on the rivers yet so I want to stick to the lakes. Does anyone know if this will work, or if carp are even attracted to light?
