I reciently moved to the pacific northwest puget sound area an I see everybody using a harpoon to land big halibut. You know bring up with rod an reel then harpoon then gaf. I have been using the rod ,bow then gaf on the biguns, an this seem to be flawless. Lots of stories floating out here about the 300 + that was lost by shitty harpoon jab. For landing big butts the bow is deffinetly mobetta , my 02. Hey wouldnt a sling shot be the shiz for this .Would save room in boat anyway. Anybody bowfish PNW salt?
