Hi my name is Mark and my 14 year old son and I are new to bow fishing. I have a few Questions i hope you can help us out with. I was wandering, is their a better time of the year to bow fish in the day? Is their a better time of the year to bow fish at night? I live in north central Indiana. also we have a 12ft aluminum V-botton boat, do you think it is safe enough to stand up in to shoot the bows? Thank you!

if the water is open you should be able to find fish but late spring and all summer would be the best and that boat is a good start..... but the bigger the better my boys shoot out of a 10ft jon all the time...
