 Hi guys and gals new here and just thought I would show a picture of the buck I harvested on public land last weekend to the west of my home state.First time hunting a differnt state for whitetail and had quite an adventure.Scouted the area with google map and narrowed down some funnels the took a boat over twice for some foot scouting and found some good sign to set up on.Day to of the hunt I harvested this 8 point buck at 8:00 am 1 - 1 1/2 MILES from the boat and had to take one half of the deer back at a time wich took me until noon.I didnt see alot of deer or any bigger than this one but it has been one of my most satisfying hunts I have been on and am pround of the buck I harvested.hope you enjoyed the pic and story.
